Looking for an example of a team-first player? Look no further than New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola.

According to ESPN's Field Yates, Amendola has agreed to take a pay cut in order to stay with the team.

According to Yates, the veteran wide out should see more than $1.6 million this season, though it won't be much more.

Since joining the Pats in 2013, Amendola has caught 169 passes for 1,724 yards and 10 scores.
