We are now less than two months away from election day, and right on cue, here comes the parade of swamp creatures. As if the plague, the riots, and the raging wildfires aren't enough, the American people can anticipate a new "scandal" to emerge almost daily as Donald Trump's numbers go up and Joe Biden continues to look more and more pathetic.

Have you ever seen one of those old Bruce Lee films where our hero has to fend off wave after wave of bad dudes that want to destroy him? Bad dude after bad dude attacks Lee with karate chops and kung fu kicks. They come at him with sticks and knives, and one by one, Lee tosses them aside like rag dolls. It reminds me of Trump, the Slayer of the Swamp Creatures.

Day after day after day, the swamp creature dudes come after Trump with scandalous tales that would take down a weaker man. But our hero vanquishes them and moves forward.

The swamp is getting desperate because its attacks against Trump are getting wilder and more foolish by the day. Imagine, The Atlantic cites four anonymous sources as saying Trump called World War II vets "losers" and "suckers." And then CNN's Bob Woodward revealed shocking information that Trump called the coronavirus "deadly" as early as January but said he didn't want to panic the public. Gee, there goes the election with that bombshell.

All summer, we heard about how Trump didn't recognize the threat from the virus until it was too late. I guess that claim is blown to hell now.

Woodward's new book contains something that really should alarm people. The book claims former Defense Secretary James Mattis once warned that “collective action” might be necessary to stem President Donald Trump’s “dangerous” behavior in the White House.
"Collective action?" Was he implying that a coup might be necessary? Let's see what the media does with this – if anything.

So expect the parade of swamp creatures to continue. The pace will accelerate as the election draws closer. It might be fun to create a scandal pool much like Howie Carr's death pool. We could give away prizes to those able to guess the next fake scandal before it drops.
