Costa Rica Earns Upset Win In Day Three Of World Cup

Group D member Costa Rica was the big winner on Day Three of the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.  They upset Uruguay 3-1 in the second match of the day.

In Group C, Colombia rolled Greece 3-0 in the first game.  Italy went on to beat England 2-1 to close out Group D play.  Play on Saturday ended with Ivory Coast rallying past Japan 2-1 in Group C.

There are three games on tap Sunday.  In Group E, Switzerland plays Ecuador, and France takes on Honduras.  Group F starts with Argentina against Bosnia and Herzegovina. (Metro Networks Inc.)
