Two-Car Crash Injures Woman, Damages Dartmouth House

DARTMOUTH — A two-car crash this afternoon sent one person to hospital with minor injuries and damaged a house on State Road in Dartmouth.

Dartmouth Police said that emergency personnel responded to the area of 123 State Road just before 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday for a crash involving two vehicles.

Officers noted that the crash involved a Ford Escape driven by a 42-year-old Dartmouth woman and a GMC van driven by a 74-year-old Boston woman.

One person was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A house was also damaged as a result of the crash, police said.

Responding officers notified both the Dartmouth Building Inspector and various utility companies due to the damage to the building.

The crash remains under investigation. No charges have yet been filed for the incident.
