New England Patriots offensive tackle, Nate Solder played the entire 2014 season after being diagnosed with testicular cancer. He beat it, thanks to early detection. Unfortunately, he found out some heartbreaking news about his infant son in October.

Solder revealed Hudson has kidney cancer at the Joe Andruzzi Foundation's eighth annual Gratitude Gala in Foxborough. A Wilms' tumor was found on Hudson's kidney, and he has already started chemotherapy treatments at Boston Children's Hospital. The Patriots player is receiving support from fans and fellow players in the NFL, and shared his thanks with everyone via Twitter.

Hudson seems "tough like his dad." God bless the family during this difficult time.
