Whether you agree or disagree with Donald Trump, he has been a skillful brand steward for a long time. Win, lose or draw, Donald Trump deserves credit for building a branded high-end real estate empire. I'm not talking about creating some roadside suite hotels. I'm pointing to high-quality golf courses, plush hotels and luxurious high rise offices with his brand, which is his name.

But wouldn't it be ironic if the guy who once said he could run for president and maintain his billion dollar business, instead have that brand demolished by running for POTUS? Some say that's exactly what's happening right now. Self-made billionaire, Mark Cuban, thinks if Donald Trump loses the election, he's betting the mogul will go belly up within 7 years!

Other experts believe Trump's brand devaluation is already happening. Bloomberg cites research showing Trump brand's value had already fallen in the past year with consumers earning over $150,000 a year and the market share of Trump casinos, luxury hotels and golf courses plummeted 14% from July 2015 to July 2016. So if high-income individuals plus corporations that rent space in his office buildings are finding it difficult to associate with Trump because of his offending assorted groups, it would definitely dull the shine of the big gold Trump letters on the front of his buildings.
