Every year, players on the Super Bowl championship team are able to authorize family and friends to purchase their own versions of the player's Super Bowl ring.

Following his win in Super Bowl LI, Tom Brady apparently did just that. Now, one of those "friend and family" version rings has sold at auction for a hefty sum of over $344,000.

According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, the ring was sold $344,927 at auction.
