Christmas is back in the box. Most of us remember it is 2025 and not 2024. So far, we've been spared from any major snowstorms, at least here along the coast.

So what say we fast forward to spring?

After all, "Truck Day" is just weeks away. Before you know it, all of the bats, balls, uniforms and other baseball essentials will be rolling down I-95 to JetBlue Park for the start of spring training. Pitchers and catchers will be reporting almost any day now.

Can summertime be that far off?

Well, if your summertime includes Boston Red Sox games at Fenway Park, you may want to know that renovations to the ballpark are underway this winter to make your experience more enjoyable.

A Sports Illustrated headline reads, "Boston Red Sox in the Midst of Big Improvement For Fenway Park."

Sounds interesting, no?

SI.com's Brady Farkas writes, "According to WEEI.com's Rob Bradford, the Boston Red Sox are in the midst of a Fenway renovation. They are installing new video boards with the old ones being shipped to JetBlue Park, the team's home for spring training."

Farkas says, "While it may seem like a small thing, the Red Sox are clearly working to improve the fan experience in 2025, both on the field of play and in the ballpark."

MassLive.com quoted Red Sox president/CEO Sam Kennedy, "There will be changes to the creature comforts of Fenway in the different amenity areas, whether its the Green Monster, upgraded concessions, the right field roof, or the new Aura Club."

"We're not adding new seats or capacity," Kennedy said.

Kennedy said the team will introduce new uniforms for the 2025 season. Though he would not disclose the color of the new uniforms, Kennedy told MassLive fans should "give it a chance."
