Savannah Bananas Take Over Gillette Stadium with Surprise Stars

Gillette Stadium was a sea of yellow recently as thousands attended a night of fun and entertainment with the family-favorite Savannah Bananas. Fans enjoyed the experience as it encapsulates much more than a ballgame. From musical performances to special guest appearances, it was an unforgettable weekend in Foxboro.

Patriots Legends and New England Stars Join the Fun

Being in the home of the New England Patriots, it was only fitting to have some former Pats players make guest appearances. Troy Brown, David Andrews, Willie McGinest, Doug Flutie and Kevin Faulk were among the alums who took part in the fun. Current Patriots tight end Hunter Henry and former Red Sox outfielder Shane Victorino also took part over the weekend.

A Hometown Milestone for Scituate Native Jesse Cole

As "Banana Ball" has grown in popularity, the team has been able to perform at many iconic venues. In 2025, it was Fenway Park and now they can check another Boston sports venue off the list.

It's a moment team owner Jesse Cole holds near and dear to his heart. The Scituate, Mass. native was thrilled to be back in his home state, in front of 130,000 fans who packed the stadium on back-to-back sold out nights inside the home of his beloved New England Patriots. "This is where greatness lives and tonight we promise to put on one of our greatest shows," Cole said.

A Surprise Mid-Game Concert from Keith Urban

Fans were even treated to a mid-game concert by country music star Keith Urban. He sang and played guitar during the sixth inning, performing his hit "Long Hot Summer." It was a rare sighting as Urban has only performed a handful of times in months.

"Fired up to be on that field and bring Banana Ball back home to the biggest stadium in New England," Cole wrote, reflecting on the epic weekend in Foxboro.
