After taking the first two games of their series with New York in Boston, the Bruins were able to beat the New York Rangers 2-1, and take a commanding 3-0 series lead.

Winning in Boston wasn't easy for the Bruins, but were able to pull out two big wins over the rival New York Rangers. On Monday night the Bruins made the Rangers hopes of winning a Stanley Cup fade a bit more.

No one scored in the first period, despite Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist being a bit banged up. In the second period the Rangers took a 1-0 lead, but the Bruins spoiled that by scoring 2 goals to give them the lead, and the eventual win. Johnny Boychuck and Daniel Paille scored for the B's.

Game four will be Thursday night in New York. A must win situation for the Rangers.
