Harvey got her start as many New Englanders do, by taking skating lessons at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough. Her off-season training was also deep-rooted in Massachusetts. Harvey incorporated boxing into her workout routine, training at the same facility used in The Fighter. She even caught the eye of Dicky Eklund. Her years of dedication turned her into a world champion, Olympic gold medalist, and now a No. 1 pick in the PWHL.
