Boston 2024 Expected To Name New Bedford Olympic Sailing Site

New Bedford expected to be named as host site for sailing events should Boston be selected as a host city for the 2024 Olympic Games.

Boston.com is reporting that officials with Boston 2024 are expected to make a “venue announcement” Thursday naming New Bedford the prospective site for sailing events.

The Mayor's Office says that a joint press conference by Boston 2024 and the City will be held at noon at Fort Taber.
