Body Found In Taunton Historic District

Taunton Police and the Bristol County DA's office is investigating an un-attended death in Taunton.

A man walking his dog on the sidewalk along the Taunton Green Sunday morning found an unresponsive man lying on the ground in an alley between 2 buildings. He notified Taunton police and emergency personnel declared the man dead.

He is identified as 26 year old Francisco Lazaro of Taunton. An autopsy will be performed by the state medical examiner to determine the cause of death as police continue to investigate.
