A man was put in a bear hug during a robbery Sunday afternoon.

Detective Captain Steven Vicente says the 66-year-old victim was walking in the area of County Street and Rivet Street around 12:45 p.m. when he was grabbed from behind and put in a bear hug.

The suspect then reached into the man's pockets and grabbed some cash before fleeing with another man.

The victim described the two suspects as light skinned men with slim builds standing between 5'7" and 5'10" wearing light colored clothing.

The victim wasn't hurt and neither suspect said anything to him.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective William Westgate at 508-991-6300 ext. 136.
