Atlantic City's Revel Casino is shutting its doors next month after failing to find a buyer in bankruptcy court.

Revel was supposed to be the crown jewel of Atlantic City when it opened in April 2012 but never managed to make a dime after turning off seniors by refusing to offer buffets and bus deals. When it closes on September 10th, more than three-thousand people will lose their jobs.

It's the latest disaster to hit the crumbling seaside resort which started the year with 12 casinos. The Atlantic Club closed in January and Showboat and Trump Plaza are closing in the next few weeks, all falling victim to increased competition for gambling dollars. (Metro Networks Inc.)
