Minnesota Vikings owner Zygi Wilf says team officials made a mistake by activating star running back Adrian Peterson. Wilf said this morning that it's important to listen to the team's fans and sponsors. Wilf added Peterson will be away from the team and focused on his personal situation. Wilf said he firmly believes this is the right decision. Peterson is facing charges of child abuse in Texas.

The Vikings released a statement this morning saying the team went back on its decision to play Peterson in Sunday's game "after further reflection." Peterson is now on the team's Exempt/Commissioner's Permission list, which will keep him away from all team activities until his legal issues are resolved.
