New Bedford Electronics Store Armed Robbery Under Investigation

NEW BEDFORD — Police are investigating a report of an armed robbery Sunday evening at Lico Electronics at 1612 Acushnet Avenue.

They received the call at 7:43 p.m. that two masked assailants had come in to the store, one brandishing a firearm.

The pair took off with cash and electronics.

No injuries were reported, nor of any shots fired.
