Accident On The New Bedford-Fairhaven Bridge

There are delays being reported on the New Bedford-Fairhaven Bridge following a three vehicle crash.

New Bedford Police Lt. Amos Melo tells WBSM News the crash took place just before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on the westbound side going from Fairhaven into New Bedford.

Three people sustained minor injuries and medics are on the scene.

There is no closure in effect at this time and there is no word on what caused the accident.
