I am a pro-life supporter and passionate about life and protecting the unborn. It will be a moment of truth for me and others Friday at the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C., as President Donald Trump appears in person and makes pro-life history.

It'll be one of the most illustrious events in the pro-life movement because President Trump will become the first president in U.S. history to show up at the march, which is now in its 47th year since the U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion with its Roe v. Wade decision.

Trump will deliver an in-person speech on Friday. In my opinion, the president has been consistent in the appointment of pro-life judges, cutting taxpayer funding for abortions, and for calling an end to late-term abortions. Pro-lifers like me haven't had victories like these for a long time, and I'm grateful to him for this.

I'll defend the first right in our Declaration of Independence – the right to life – that is never a privilege conferred by government. The right to life is a moral principle based on the belief that a being has the right to live and should not be killed by another entity, including the government.

Friday, January 24, 2020, will be an all-important, preeminent day for people like me.
