109-Year-Old New Bedford Woman Gets to Touch World Series Trophy
On Saturday, we told you about Irene Miller, who is likely New Bedford's oldest resident. She's turning 110 on December 28, and has asked everyone to send her birthday cards to help her celebrate.
Already, her story is going viral, with people all over the world planning on sending cards to Irene!
If you read the story, you know the lifelong New Bedford resident is also an avid Red Sox fan, who has been alive for eight of the teams' nine World Series championships.
On Sunday, thanks to some special friends, Irene had the chance to see the 2018 World Series trophy for herself at the Seaport Inn.
