White House Fence-Jumper Ruled Not Competent To Stand Trial
The man accused of jumping a White House fence and entering the executive mansion last month isn't competent to stand trial right now.
Results of a preliminary screening of Omar Gonzalez were revealed today in court and a federal judge said she plans to order a more thorough psychiatric evaluation of the suspect.
The arraignment scheduled for today was postponed. Both prosecutors and defense lawyers were given a week to report back on finding a facility to examine Gonzalez' mental health.
The next court hearing in the case is set for December 3rd.
