Community activist John "Buddy" Andrade discusses a number of subjects with Jim Phillips on WBSM's Townsquare Sunday Program. Andrade and the Old Bedford Village Development Corp. are hosting a community meeting this coming Monday on the future of the Morse Cutting Tools site. After an initial cleanup, the four-acre site has basically been forgotten, according to Andrade. State officials will be on hand Monday to offer an update on the site. Andrade is also staging a series of "Community Conversations" about the history of the South-Central neighborhood to educate young people on the history of one of New Bedford's most historic areas of the city.

Townsquare Sunday with Jim Phillips can be heard each Sunday at 6 a.m. on WBSM 1420 and WBSM.com. Townsquare Sunday is a weekly public affairs program highlighting non-profits and community organizations in the Greater New Bedford area.
