An investigatory meeting slated for today between the headmaster of New Bedford High School and teacher Joanne Maura has once again been postponed.

The Superintendent's office says today's postponement was requested by the teacher's union.

However, New Bedford Educators Association President Lou St. John tells WBSM News neither his union, the Massachusetts Teachers Association, nor Joanne Maura called for the postponement.

It's the second time the investigatory meeting has been postponed. The meeting has now been rescheduled for Thursday.

Maura is the teacher seen in a video where a student threw a chair at the desk she was standing behind.

The alleged student involved in the incident, 18-year-old Kemar Roselus, has been expelled from the high school, and criminal charges have been filed against him.
