New Bedford Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Pia Durkin has outlined her final budget proposal to the School Committee.

At Monday night's School Committee meeting, Mayor Jon Mitchell said gears are beginning to grind forward as far as finding a new superintendent is concerned.
