Suspect Charged In Slaying Of Raymond Sanchez

 

A 17 year old New Bedford man is charged with murder in the October 9th stabbing death of 21 year old Raymond Sanchez.

The District Attorney's office says Andre Gage will be charged as an adult, and faces arraignment Friday afternoon in New Bedford District Court.

Librarian To Be Summonsed To Court To Answer Larceny Charge

 

The branch manager of the Casa De Saudade Library will be summonsed into court to answer a charge of larceny. 

Police have accused Judith Downey of New Bedford of larceny over $250. 

They alleged she used the library cards of three dead people over the last few years, to "take out" more than 300 books from city libraries, after her own account was "maxed out."
