Two-Alarm Fire On Purchase Street Causes Extensive Damage

New Bedford firefighters are continuing to investigate a two-alarm fire at 1487 Purchase Street.

The blaze broke out around 11am in the building housing the Lebanese Kitchen. WBSM's Dan McCready says the most extensive damage appeared to be in the living areas above the restaurant

New Bedford Fire Crews Battle Two Fires Monday Afternoon

New Bedford Firefighters made quick work of two fires Monday afternoon. 

Fire crews were battling a small fire at 82 Nye Street when an alarm sounded for a second blaze at 45 Tallman Street.
