What started as a fun day off for two Fall River police officers quickly turned into a life-saving rescue on one of the slopes at Okemo Mountain in Vermont.
Fall River Police Officer Nicholas Hoar has been found guilty in an excessive force case that involved beating a man in custody. He will be sentenced in April 2024.
It's the second arrest this week and the third this year for Andrew Crook, a Fall River police lieutenant who is now facing drunk driving and open container charges following an incident Wednesday afternoon.
Three people reportedly sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to Rhode Island Hospital. Police say emergency calls indicated multiple shots were fired.
