Man Dies In Taunton Powerboat Race

A unidentified Walpole power boat racer died as the result of a crash during a competition at Watson Pond in Taunton Sunday. Witnesses say the man’s boat flipped over toward the end of a race. Paramedics tried to resuscitate the man after he was taken out of the water, and he was transported in an ambulance from the scene
