Justice Louis D. Brandeis said, “Sunlight is the best disinfectant” in praise of transparency and honesty in public policy. But, being in the dark is actually better for your overall health! The results of the study were published in the American Journal of Epidemiology. Scientists from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom found that women were healthier who slept in dark rooms as compared to women who slept in lighter rooms. The study said this issue of light room/dark room showed a correlation with obesity, depression, Type 2 Diabetes and insomnia, to name a few.

This article, that originally appeared on WomansDay.com talked about getting rid of the computer and TV in the bedroom and the same goes for your cell phone and electronics that give off blue light. So, don't be in the dark about this important information, and please share it with your friends.
