Rochester Man Arrested For OUI Drugs

A Rochester man was charged with OUI drugs and possession of heroin after being found behind the wheel of a vehicle at Petro Mart, located at 171 Coggeshall Street in New Bedford early Saturday.

Police were called to the scene on a report of a male sleeping in his vehicle. When police arrived, Nathaniel Morse, 20, of 980 Walnut Plain Road, Rochester, appeared to be attempting to put the vehicle into gear. Evidence of drug use was found in the vehicle.

Morse was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital for evaluation. The incident was reported at 4:54 a.m.
