SOMERSET —  Two Somerset men face charges after police uncover a large amount of heroin in a home in the town.

Somerset Police executed a search warrant at 245 Lees River Avenue at 4:45 a.m. on Sunday as part of a month-long investigation into drug activity at that address.

In the home, police found and seized 358 bags of heroin, four grams of crack cocaine, and an unspecified amount of cash.

Police arrested two occupants of the home, Barry Cabral, 42, and Henry Rogers, 27.

Cabral has been charged with trafficking in a Class A controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute a Class B controlled substance. Cabral is being held on $20,000 cash bail.

Rogers is charged with trafficking in a Class A controlled substance. Rogers is being held on $15,000 cash bail.

Both men are being arraigned on Monday.

Somerset Police were assisted in the investigation by detectives from Fall River, Westport, and Seekonk.
