Nine weeks and counting before the 126th anniversary of the ratification of the Bill of Rights. Recall, they remain the first ten amendments to the Constitution for the united States.

Similar to last Friday, I'm asking you to reword one of the amendments to make it more appropriate for today. We're covering the vaulted and maligned Second Amendment. You know the one, as written, gives all persons the right to keep and bear arms. Your statement must remain a one sentence paragraph.

Here's my rewrite: "Except in legal cases proving ones lack of mental capacity, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

How would you rewrite the Second Amendment?
