President Obama says there is no specific credible evidence of a terror plot in the U.S.

The President spoke from the White House today after meeting with his national security advisers. He said the nation is doing everything it can to prevent terror attacks at home and abroad.

The President's remarks came almost two weeks after 130 people were killed in terrorist attacks in Paris. Obama said if there is a specific threat to the U.S, the public will be informed and he urged Americans to go about their normal Thanksgiving activities.

He closed his brief statement by saying America is equipped to prevent attacks and is resilient in the face of those who try to do us harm. (Metro Networks Inc.)
