New Photo Shows Blood on Zimmerman’s Face
December 4, 2012 9:00 AM A new photo is now out of the man accused of killing Trayvon Martin. It shows blood running down George Zimmerman’s nose and lip on the night the deadly shooting occurred in Sanford. Zimmerman’s attorney Mark O’Mara says the picture could call further attention to Zimmerman’s claim that he shot the unarmed, 17-year-old Martin in self-defense.

The quality of the new color photo is much better than a black-and-white copy released months ago. Zimmerman has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in the February 26th shooting of Martin.
