New Bedford Police Seize Xanax, Gun, Cash

New Bedford Police have announced another drug bust.

On Jan 11, detectives from the city's narcotics and gang units searched an apartment at 17A Crapo Street and seized a firearm, ammunition, 58 Xanax pills, and $3,485 in cash.

Mason Glossop, 20, was arrested and charged with firearms offenses and possession to distribute a Class E Drug. Detective Tim Soares investigated the case.

No further information was provided in the media release from police department communications director Melissa Batchilder and Public Information Officer Lt. Scott Carola.
