New Bedford Man Arrested for Driving Illegally, Drugs
NEW BEDFORD — A New Bedford man is arrested after a traffic stop reveals he is driving illegally and in possession of narcotics.
New Bedford Police say that at around 12:44 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4, they observed a vehicle driving in the area of Rockdale Avenue and Bank Street, and that further investigation determined the car was unregistered and the driver was not licensed. A small amount of cocaine was also found in the car.
Police arrested 23-year-old Henry Ortiz Delgado of Mott Street in New Bedford on charges of illegally attaching plates, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and possession of cocaine.
