Mo'ne Davis, the 13-year-old pitcher from Philadelphia who's become the breakout star of the Little League World Series, has now become the first Little Leaguer on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

The magazine announced Tuesday that Davis, who became the first girl to throw a shutout in the Little League World Series last Friday, will be on the cover of their August 25th issue. Davis and her 70 mile-an-hour fastball will be on the mound again tonight (August 20th) when her Taney Dragons play the team from Las Vegas in hopes of advancing to the U.S. title game.
