BROCKTON (WBSM) — The mother of three children who were killed in Duxbury in January was indicted for their murders, the Plymouth County District Attorney said Friday afternoon.

In a release, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz said Lindsay Clancy, 32, was indicted by a Plymouth County grand jury on three counts each of murder and strangulation.

The indictments are related to the murders of 5-year-old Cora Clancy, 3-year-old Dawson Clancy and 8-month-old Callan Clancy.

Duxbury Police received a 911 call in the early evening of Jan. 24 about the suspected attempted suicide of a female resident who had jumped from the window of a home at 47 Summer St.

Clancy was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Cruz said all three children were found by first responders in the basement of the house. Cora and Dawson were found strangled and pronounced dead at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. Callan Clancy was transported to Boston Children’s Hospital where he died several days later.

Clancy was charged with the murders of all three of her children.

She is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges in Plymouth Superior Court at
a later date.

She is being held without bail and treated in a medical facility.
