Hundreds Join In “Sharon’s Walk” At Fort Taber

WFHN-Fun 107 and Southcoast Hospital Group teamed up for another successful "Sharon's Walk" on Sunday. 

Hundreds of walkers took part at Fort Taber, raising money and awareness for the fight against cancer.

Proceeds from the walk go to Southcoast Hospital's Cancer Care Centers patient assistance fund.

Physician in Chief Dr. Theresa Mulvey tells WBSM News, in dealing with cancer cases, insurance only covers so much....

"Sharon's Walk" honors the memory of former Fun 107 morning co-host Sharon Fogaren who died suddenly in 2009, and her mother Elaine, who passed from breast cancer in 2004.
