Dartmouth Police have recovered evidence from 209 Richard Street, the site of an eight hour standoff Tuesday.

Detective Kyle Costa says Dartmouth Police executed a search warrant at the home of Kevin Pacheco after the standoff, and found numerous firearms, ammunition and computers.

Police also recovered books related to becoming a serial killer and the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Detective Costa tells WBSM News the findings are alarming.

Costa says police will sift through recovered electronic devices in search of more evidence, and possibly a motive as to why Pacheco allegedly sent threatening emails to faculty at Roger Williams University School of Law, triggering the standoff.

Pacheco is undergoing evaluation at St. Luke's Hospital, and is expected to be arraigned in Massachusetts Thursday on charges of extortion and threats
