Freetown Man Arrested for Shoplifting from New Bedford Pharmacies

NEW BEDFORD — A Freetown man is arrested for shoplifting small items from two different pharmacies in New Bedford.

New Bedford Police received a report at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday of an individual who had stolen gum from the Rite Aid at 565 Mill Street. He was then observed stealing razors from the Walgreens located at 109 Kempton Street.

Police arrested 34-year-old Michael DiPaola of 9 Hilltop Park in Freetown on two charges of shoplifting.
