The Kansas City Royals' dominance in American League All-Star balloting continues with eight players now in line to start next month's game in Cincinnati.

Omar Infante is now in the lead at second base, surpassing the Astros' Jose Altuve . Catcher Salvador Perez still leads all AL players in voting with more than 7.2-million.

Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer, shortstop Alcides Escobar, third baseman Mike Moustakas, DH Kendrys Morales and outfielders Lorenzo Cain and Alex Gordon are also in line to start.

Angels slugger Mike Trout is the only non-Royal to currently hold a starting spot. Voting continues exclusively online through July 2nd. This year's All-Star Game will be played July 14th at Great American Ball Park. (Metro Networks Inc.)
