Dartmouth Gunsmith Disagrees With Obama’s Safety Proposals
Local firearms dealers and enthusiasts are taking issue with President Obama's proposals for new gun safety laws.
Ken Pacheco, owner and operator of The Village Gunsmith in Dartmouth says the President's initiatives, such as a nationwide ban on assault weapons and high capacity ammunition clips, will not phase evil-doers.
Pacheco, however, does agree with Obama's proposal to staff more schools with armed officers.
President Obama is also asking lawmakers to pass legislation on a universal background check for individuals looking to purchase firearms.
