As the Boston Celtics beat the Philadelphia 76ers 116-108 Wednesday night, C's point guard Isaiah Thomas tied one of the franchise's all-time great players for most consecutive games with 20 or more points scored.

Thomas' game-high 33 points marked his 40th straight game in which he has scored at least 20 points, tying him with Boston legend John Havlicek for the longest such stretch in team history.

Thomas has been on fire throughout the first half of the season so far, averaging 29.8 points per game and racking up multiple Player of the Week and Player of the Month honors.

While the diminutive All-Star looks to be well on his way to passing Havlicek for the franchise's most consecutive 20 point games, he may be well on his way to becoming the franchise's first ever league scoring leader. He may also be on track to finally take the C's deep into the postseason.
