Boston Celtics diminutive guard Isaiah Thomas has been playing out of his mind on the court as of late. Thanks to his nightly doses of dominant play, Thomas has also been racking in the accolades recently.

A week ago, Thomas was named the Eastern Conference's Player of the Month for January. Over the course of the month, Thomas, who led the C's to a 10-4 record, averaged just under 33 points and a tick under seven assists per game.

Thomas followed up the strong month-long performance, which also saw him get named to the Eastern Conference All-Star team, with a superb first month of February.

The 5-foot-9 point guard averaged 37.8 points and 6.8 assists per game as his team went 4-0 from January 30th through February 5th. Included in that stretch were back-to-back 40 plus point games.

That stellar week got Thomas his second straight league award, as he was named the conference's Player of the Week, Monday.

If Thomas keeps up his extremely high level of play and the now second place C's contiue their winning ways, he will undoubtedly have to be strongly considered for the league's MVP award.
