Snowblowers, shovels, and plows are still in motion throughout much of the South Coast.

Mayor Jon Mitchell says he feels the City was adequately prepared for the first major storm of the season, though it didn't come without challenges.

Mitchell encourages residents to remain patient as plow truck drivers continue to make their rounds.

Mitchell says the light snow, combined with the heavy wind made plowing a tedious task.

School remains closed today for the safety of children walking to school. SRTA is running limited bus routes. City hall will have a delayed opening at noon.
