Perhaps 2013 will be Carl Crawford's year in Boston. 2011 was disappointing, and 2012 has been filled with injury. After coming into the season late, he decided to end his season early to get Tommy Jon surgery.

His teammates backed him up. After all, there is no use in playing injured. Crawford had surgery earlier this week, and ESPN reports that it was a success. Now hopefully Crawford will be back to the player that he was in Tamp Bay, who signed the massive contract last season.
