Avery Johnson was able survive the move from New Jersey to Brooklyn, but after a few months in the New York borough, Nets management has decided to continue on into 2013 with out him.

The Brooklyn Nets made the announcement Thursday morning. The Nets started their run in Brooklyn at 11-4, and a very promising future. Things went down hill quickly. They went from rivaling the first place New York Knicks, to fighting to stay out of second to last place in the division.

The last 13 games were ugly for the Nets, winning only 3 of them. No news as to who will Johnson's replacement.
