J.R. loves being on the radio. He’s had a long career in broadcasting and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. He grew-up in Upstate New York, and has logged thousands of hours behind the mic. “No two days are the same, and they certainly are interesting.” he says. J.R. told us that radio has allowed him to meet the greatest people in entertainment, including Jay Leno, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, The Rolling Stones, Steven Tyler, Wyclef Jean, Janet Jackson and so many more. He’s also done live broadcasts from Universal Studios Orlando and hosted several listener cruises to the Caribbean. “The listeners are what this is all about.” J.R. adds “As we know, radio is nothing without our loyal listeners.”
