Albert Pujols is the newest member of the 500 home run club.

The Angels first baseman connected for a two-run shot off Washington's Taylor Jordan in the fifth inning. He also hit a three-run blast in the first inning.

Pujols is the 26th member of the exclusive club. Gary Sheffield was the last to reach the plateau back in 2009. (Metro Networks Inc.)
